MILS® Green Credentials

The MILS^® system is designed as an environmentally responsible system.

The MILS^® system has the following green credentials:

• 400m of the standard MILS® stripe in running mode uses the same electricity as a 60W lightbulb
• 1.6km of our tunnel stripe in running mode uses the same electricity as a 60W lightbulb
• 240 of our medium size MILS^® light panels use the same electricity as a 60W light bulb
• The MILS^® system is based on LED technology, meaning no regular changing and disposal of light bulbs
• IP68 means less maintenance is required, and less replacement is needed
• low location lighting requires less light to light a emergency route, as the light source is closer to the floor
• Lower power usage also means smaller cables and smaller batteries, leading to less use of natural resources
